About This Web Site

The new Planetcast corporate web site was launched in mid-January 2002, and features the industry's most advanced code for device-independent web access.

Known as XHTML 1.0, this code standard is more suitable than previous standards as a basis for the deployment of commercial and industrial web-based applications. It is the reformulation of HTML 4 as an application of XML, and therefore is the first step toward a modular and extensible web based on XML (Extensible Markup Language). XHTML provides the bridge for web designers to enter the web of the future, while still being able to maintain compatibility with existing HTML 4 compatible browsers. XHTML 1.0 was released on January 26, 2000 as a Recommendation by the W3C.

Planetcast builds all new client web sites to this high technical level, and we test every page on every site for the highest possible compatibility and validity with the XHTML 1.0 standard.
